i have a 98 honda civic. it runs and drives great. if i turn it off, engine floods and wont start. i put in new pluggs, wires and fuel filter and its still happening. please help
that's about it. I did oil change, fuel filter, plugs and plug wires. when I changed plugs , the tips had gas on them telling me it engine is flooding. if I let it sit for an hour its starts but very weak and I got to pump gas or it stalls. sometimes it starts all the time. driving me crazy cause I love the car. please help
Check the fuel pressure regulator, it could be leaking fuel throught the vacuum port, if that checks good then the only other thing is the fuel injectors are leaking.
