How do I remove the back seat from a 2000 Honda Passport? There seems to be some sort of bracket or bolt holding it from underneath the seat.

I'm wanting to remove the seat base to clean it thoroughly... previous owner made a mess!

Hmmm.... I figured it out myself. There's a pull strap release by the seat belt receivers. You give'em a good tug and the seat folds up toward the floor space... then you can fold the seat backs down flat. Cool... who knew?
