Tire wobble and wear on 2002 Honda Civic
I'm able to easily rock my front driver side tire easily.
How can i check/fix that myself? Also, passenger
front tire was replaced with a used half worn tire not
long ago and the inside of the tire already has the
metal sticking out (currently flat). Could that be
caused by the rocking of the driver side tire while
driving? Driver side tire has no signs of that
(replaced about same time and about same
condition as other tire when purchased)
Unless you have access to a jack, tools and know how to replace suspension components, I'd take it too a shop. Sounds like you have worn suspension components, Hard to diagnose exactly what, could be a tie-rod, ball joint, control arm bushing, etc. So have the worn parts replaced, 2 new tires on the front and a wheel alignment done and you should be good to go. Safe too.
