2016 Hyundai Sonata 935 Recall

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Purchased a used 2016 Hyundai Sonata SE as a second car for work
commute in Feb 20. Since I have had it, I have had to replace all ignition
coils, spark plugs, address numerous oil leaks, and now the fuel injectors
need replacing. The car has 165K miles. I have recently learned of the 935
recall that is open on this car and wonder if those issues could be related to
the recall not being done. And if so, shouldn't the dealership have performed
that recall service before selling it to me? Can I get reimbursed for the
repairs already completed, and can the fuel injectors be replaced without out
of pocket expense?

The engine is losing power and when you try to accelerate it shakes violently.

Buying a high mile Hyundai is financial suicide. I would be looking at dumping it ASAP. As far as I can tell this recall has nothing at all to do with fuel injectors.
