Can be a lots issues , radiator, water pump, or the thermostat, need to get that checked before you blow the engine... if the car heats up and comes back down may be a chance that is the thermostat... but you want to get that checked

Hey just realize my fan isn't moving that could be the cause for temp to climb right?

Check for the fuse for the fan , or the connection, but usually the fan only turns on when the radiator gets hot to cool down

If you're certain that the engine is not actually overheating and this is a gauge problem, it's either the gauge (doubtful), the sending unit, or the engine coolant temperature sensor..... If it IS overheating, it can be caused by several things. A broken water pump, for sure. But it could be a sticking thermostat, clogged radiator, collapsed hose, bad radiator cap, air in cooling system. There could even be mechanical issues with the engine that cause this. Start by checking coolant flow. Is the top hose hot? if not it's the thermostat. If it is, with radiator cap off see if there is flow. If not, it's the radiator. If flow, purge air from the system (videos on line explain this simple procedure). This covers 90% of overheating problems.

My car temperature gauge is going up and down, my engine and coolant is cool. My fan comes on I have no leaks could this be a sensor or a stuck thermostat?

Defective engine coolant temperature sensor.
