i have a 2002 t bird. when i drive between 40-50 mph the engine seems to want to skip and jump a bit. when i get to 50 it smooths out. what is casuing this

Might be the torque convertor in the transmission or a burnt overdrive band, try driving with the OD light on, or locked out and see if it goes away?

Check the coil pac & plugs & PLUG WIRES.

I had the same problem replaced the spark plugs problem went away
