i have a 2002 t bird. when i drive between 40-50 mph the engine seems to want to skip and jump a bit. when i get to 50 it smooths out. what is casuing this

Might be the torque convertor in the transmission or a burnt overdrive band, try driving with the OD light on, or locked out and see if it goes away?

When I start my car in the morning, the engine seems to have a misfire, but when the engine warms up the misfire stops. What could cause this. 3 answers
Replaced spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, intake gaskets, and ignition coil. When I take off a plug wire from the distributor, I see scratch-like markings on the terminal.

i have a 96 t bird 4.6 liter it runs about 30miles the check engine light comes on then at 100 or 150 miles the control module burns up . no fuel pump sound it dont start. theres been 3 installed and repeats itself i had a engine code reader put on it it gives code p1443 can you tell me what i need to get this fixed thanks terry 1 answer

I have recently aquired a 1963 T-Bird that runs OK and looks good. BUT, the brake pedal is as hard as rocks to push on (need both feet to stop, at best) to get the the car stoped. Where should I start, and what could be the fix? Or, what publication would be available for troubleshooting, not necessarily a repair manuel (althoughthat may help for part removal and replacement) i want to know what likely is the problem. 5 answers
Hard as hell brake pedal resistance, brakes do not seem to drag.
