When I start my car in the morning, the engine seems to have a misfire, but when the engine warms up the misfire stops. What could cause this.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced spark plugs, plug wires,
distributor cap, rotor, intake gaskets,
and ignition coil.
When I take off a plug wire from the
distributor, I see scratch-like
markings on the terminal.

as I recall this model has the TBI....throttle body injection...that way they could use medium pressure fuel injectors...who's distribution of fuel is determined by the computer which measures temperature and exhaust gasses to monitor the combustion....according to temp....get a new block sensor~....sounds like you need a new distributor cap too...traces of love....long ago~

Thank you, also I forgot to mention that on the temp gauge, it only goes about 1/4 of an inch in normal, if that. But I replaced the thermostat.

The car doesn't have TBI, it has an injector for each cylinder like modern cars.
