Aftermarket brakes for a 2015 Subie Outback

I want to upgrade the brake system on my 2015
Outback. Can anyone recommend a good brand
for a decent price. I want something a little
beefier than the stock brakes.

Aftermarket upgrade brakes are expensive. Why do you think you need better brakes on an Outback?

We pull a trailer and my wife brakes particularly hard. I figured if I changed the brakes I could get more life out of the pads.

FOR is correct. The beefier rotors and pads used in 2015-2019 OBs are quite good. You may be able to install harder pads, but they usually need to warm up to bite harder and resist fading. Be careful. Leave the rotors alone.
