How can I save on gas with a v8 crown vic

Maintenance and driving habits. Keep it tuned up, filters changed, oil changed, tires properly inflated, fluids full, and use quality parts at replacement time. Don't speed, no jackrabbit starts. I get around 20 MPG around town with my '08 Grand Marquis. HTH. -Jim

Pump up the tires to max 35psi normal to 40+psi hard? But the "soft ride" will suffer & to reduce rolling friction. Tire wear will increase too. And add E3 spark plugs, premium spark plug wires, & a cold air intake or just only a direct fit replacement K & N air filter. Change to synthetic slipperier oil. And keep your lead foot out of it. Crown Vic' cop type car, huh? Cool.
