So I recently removed the muffler off of my
1989 Pontiac firebird and after doing that it
won’t even turn over

The problem is not related to the muffler removal. Troubleshoot it from the battery and look for loose or corroded connections on it and the starter terminals. Also validate that the battery has sufficient charge to crank the engine.
