I recently bought a 88 ford ranger that had a engine
swapped from 89.  2.9l I'm wondering if the engine
wiring harness is different or the sensor
connectors.

    i have an 88' Ford Ranger with a manual tranny and a 2.9L. it was swapped from the original 2.3. it runs fine but revs high in neutral or with the clutch in.
