1988 Lincoln Town car having trouble with windows and keyless entry system.Manual says the door lock assembly needs to be cleaned but doesnt tell you where it is, can you help? Also just bought and was last driven 3 yrs ago. When i start some times idle fine but other times revs up too high and have to shut off or put in gear and sometimes then ok or will rev up high after 10 sec. is there a sensor that is sticking that is causing this. I have a 1988 Lincoln Town Car and where the time & date comes up I am having a warning signal that the oil pressure is bad. It beebs when i am coming to a stop and then the message. Was checked before buying and they said was idling too low. I have changed oil and is leaking a little around plug. Mech said it was stripped and was ok but should be fixed at some time. Would this be the cause of the warning or is there a oil sensor unit that is not working and causing the problem warning. I don't think the idle is set too low. Thanks RHO 2 Answers

I operate a car service in Orlando Florida m A couple days ago in a rush to pick up an airport customer I was driving too fast and the car dropped about 2 feet as I drove over the crest of a hill and bottomed out. The air suspension system was clearly affected. The backnofbthevcar is about maybe 8 inches off the ground and will be going into the shop todsym I did drive it for another approximately 5 hours after then incident and briefly the next morning.m Hopefully not incurring any additional damage even though understandably it road extremely roughly non road surface changes. You 2004 Lincoln towncar ultimate 64'985 miles Dec 30th heading to work carfelt like it had no power service engine soon light began to flash as i drove to work parked the car the light went out never came back on but the car would hesitate from time to time like jerking.Took the car home used my scan tool and got the code C 1123 and B1676 took the car to Carmax for service under warranty they claimed that the fuel pump was bad and they replaced it picked the car up heading home the car still doing the same thing took it back to Carmax and told them the car is not fixed left it there they call a few days later saying they found the problem the luggage compartment lid module was going bad and that was the problem and i can pick my car up Monday. 1 Answer
