Used 2007 Lincoln Town Car Signature for Sale near Euless, TX

Comfort and surprising MPG=22 combined. Mostly 55 mph highway driving. We use this car for traveling, chauffering relatives and going to parties/celebrations. No major mechanical problems, but did have heater blower motor (burn out), power seat (quit on trip to Florida) and hub caps (plastic retainers broke off) problems. Acceleration, braking are fine but don't try to do any fancy turning with this giant. Wife doen't like to drive because it's too big. Ed

Awesome car! Very nice ride. Roomy. Huge trunk. And very durable. Will easily handle a significant amount of abuse. I personally have a heavy foot and am much harder on vehicles than your average individual. My car has 125k miles on it with one previous owner (an old man that died). My only issues so far have been a failed fuel pump, not too hard to change. However, I recommend using an oem fuel pump as opposed to a generic equivalent because I went with the generic off of Amazon for like $50 as opposed to an oem that was between $250 and $500 and I see that it doesnt have the same performance and is now already starting to fail after only 6 months use. The other issue is a very common one among these cars and others with the 4.6L V8 engine and its unfortunate design flaw, which is the plastic intake manifold becoming brittle from repeted heating and cooling cycles. When this happens, something (a heater hose connection, in my case) will break off and the intake will need to be replaced. Aside from that, my only real expenses have been routine maintenance and keeping gas in it. They do tend to drink a lot, especially if you drive hard like I do. If not, then theyre actually pretty reasonable on fuel for a V8.
