Most any multi weight motor oil will work just fine, I would not use a synthetic in a car that old. In general use a heavier oil 20-50 or 10-40 if you are driving in warm climates, and use something lighter like 10-30 or 5-30 in winter. I use 10-30 about all year round. we have hot summers and cold winters where I live. Some people get attached to a certain brand, but Ive used them all and haven't ever noticed a bit of difference. (except for one minor thing about Penzoil I didn't like)
