How do I take this off

I have a new steering box and there is a peace I
need on the old one but I don't know how to take it
off

Wipe the grease off and see what kind of fastener it is and unthread it all the way out. It not only squeezes that sleeve to the shaft, it also pins it in place. After removing that threaded fastener, that universal type joint should slide off that splined/keyed shaft. Look at your new part for clues.
