fuel filter canister leaks cannot find gasket for it can it be removed and how do you connect fuel lines

I don't remember these units having a gasket, there should be O- ring seals that come with the filter, but that is it. You can remove that unit and replace it with one from a Crown Vic or Tbird but you have to redo the fuel lines, most parts stores have sections of vinyl tubing to aid you in this project but you must be careful as you will be spilling fuel and a heat source is needed to do the line redo.
