Will a 5.2L. 02 2wd Durango fit on the tranny to a 98 4wd Durango

The engine on my 98 Dodge
Durango 4x4 is going out. I have
the engine from a 02 but it's a
2wd will this motor match up to
the tranny on the 4x4?

It will bolt up to the motor but the drive shaft cross member and the gear ratios are going to be different

Oh you were talking about swapping motors I don't think your wiring harness is going to be the same being a newer model motor
