I need help swapping transmissions on my Dodge Durango

What all do I need to know about replacing a 44re
rwd trans in a 5.2l with a 46re 4wd 5.9l? The 5.2l is
a 2000 Dodge Durango. I'm not sure of the other, I
just know that it will line up.

You need to know that this is a bad idea and it probably will never work or work correctly. Transmissions are computer controlled and the computer for one will not work for another one.

Three transmissions were used in the 2000 Dodge durangos. The 42re, the 44re, and a 46re. They are compatible with one another with a few different other replacements. I just need to know what else there is to replace, such as torque converter and such.

I seriously doubt they all use the same control system but I guess you will have to find out the hard way.

Okay, so to the people who are in agreeance with me and understand that you can swap out the listed transmissions ... Could you tell me what else needs to be replaced?....
