Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The motor in my Dodge Durango is
mess up the headers on the right side
is needs a new one so I go to the
auto part and I buy a new one that I
buy a new one for the right and the
left 1300 dollars after having them
removed and start fixing it now we
find out the Pistons are messed up
would have been easier just to buy a
new motor or should I continue the
repair and now I have no idea how
much the Pistons cost
