I have a 2004 Durango I bought used you can turn on the interior lights manually but they won't come on when I open the doors any suggestions

If dimmer switch turned all the way down to where it clicks the dome lights will not come on when doors are opened. Some even have a button right by the dimmer switch and if it's depressed the dome lights will not come on when doors are opened.

Problem is, the recall of the cluster panel fire hazzard has been done and now the pins on the new cluster panel connector are lose. Mine did the same thing and after taking it into dealer and them trying to tell me the panel was fine and i need a new 600 panel replacement, and me walking out to find out by them taking it out t check and reconnecting it fixed the problem. Unfortunately it only lasted a few months but that is the problem.
