Wipers on my Chrysler 200 don't always work when they are turned on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've been having some issues with my windshield wipers not always turning on. I will
turn them on to use them, and sometimes they will function, sometimes not. I can turn
them on high, low, try to use the mist option, and it doesn't matter. Had the car looked
at by my local Chrysler dealership and was told it was the total integrated power
module, and would be about $1200 to repair. My boyfriend's dad is a mechanic for a
non-Chrysler dealer, so I decided to see if he could diagnose the issue. He thought it
was the wiper motor, and so I purchased a new one, which he installed. Wipers worked
fine for about 3 weeks, with lots of rain and snow to take care of. Then the other day,
went to turn them on, and again they were no longer working. Wanted to know if
anyone else had this issue, and if it was indeed the TIPM, or maybe a slightly less
expensive issue. Thank you.

My Chrysler 200 Windshield wiper is not working on low and mid condition, only works on high now. It just happened from this August. I have been told this issue is from the electric module by the dealer which will cost over $1,000. I think it is a defect.
