2012 Chrysler Town & Country keeps dying

Asked by B Nov 21, 2020 at 03:55 PM about the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My van completely died. No power at all and I had it towed
to the shop. They said it was the transmission and replaced
it. Got the van back and it did the same thing. Completely
dead. Won't trickle charger and has to have a reved
boosting vehicle to get it going. Checked alternator and
battery. Both are newer and tested fine. Even when boosted
it does out after running for a while. Help! This car is
costing me a forturne and I'm out of ideas!

Keeps dying the second I remove the booster cables. Been hooked up for an hour. I'm revving it up to try to charge.

Check the inline fuse on the alternator battery line, it's encased in plastic. Probably blown.
