2014 Chrysler town and country dying while driving
Does anyone have a problem with their 2014 town
and country dying while driving and starting up
again and starting again and dying again and starts
again and check engine light came on and went off
by time it got to dealer and didn’t save a code a
code and they did I duplicate the problem. This is
the 4th or 5the time this has happened.
Very likely it is fuel relay. And for some dum reason it is hardwired under the fuse box rather than accessible and easily changeable like the other relays. It will not turn on the check engine light and can come and go at will. There is a $26 kit to fix it you can find online now that you know what you are looking for. Chances are that there is something wrong with your fuel pump which has probably demanded too much amperage through the relay and burnt the points. So they have a bad contact that works sometimes and not others. Be wary because they can also get stuck and cause the fuel pump to run all night....this will give you a dead battery in the morning.
