I have a 2005 VW passat. Its heater pressure and light ray improve when I press the gas pedal. What could be the problem? Its electrical system or something else?

Very slight flare up when you step on the gas is considered normal. But if it's more than that you may need a new alternator belt or the alternator itself may be failing. HTH. -Jim

I agree. Might want to also have battery tested and check battery connection to. But probably an alternator or alternator belt issue.

The heater output seems normal for it to improve with engine speed.
