If the motor is not turning an you don´t hear the starter turning I would start by checking the fuses and relay´s if they are ok then the starter has gone bad or the wire´s to the starter need to be changed or cleaned at the connections.
it crank but won't start
Check if you can hear the fuel pump when you put the ignition key to on with out cranking. If you don´t hear it the it is gone or the fuse for it. The engine needs 3 things to run, fuel, air and spark.
Push the gas as your starting it. Sometimes when they don't start right away the fuel injector sprays and floods the intake a little. Mine does the same thing.
did u ever get this problem solved?
i have a 2006 dodge durango it will not turn over! i have changed to battery, starter, and fuel pump and still nothing. Can you help me?
I had the same problem, take out your smart fuse or relay. In big fuse box under the hood. Then you have a factory security relay. Pull it out too,in the same fuse box. Ok then you can take security fuse out of little fuse box on the inside of your Dodge. Ok now make sure you roll down driver window when you do this. Put back your smart relay, then your security relay under the hood.window was rolled down so you could get both in just in case. Lock all doors, then unlock door with key. But leave security fuse out from the fuse box inside. Then try to start it, it should start . If not replace the two relays with a couple of used ones from junk yard . That way your not out of pocket to bad. That's how I started mine, it was the anti thief security alarm. It tells the brain ,don't start someone tried to get in. And if you don't have remote to doors . That's what I'll be. One more thing, pull ground off first , it helps resets the computer and alarm. That should do it, hope it helps.
