'04 crysler Sebring conv. Starts and stops running

Asked by Apr 10, 2017 at 09:27 AM about the 2004 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery died, Chrysler dealer replaced battery. Drove car home then for a few
miles to check out it was okay.  Let the car sit in garage for a week and went to
drive it and it started ran a few seconds and stalled, restarted and repeated the
starting stalling sequence. Could the problem be related to the battery
replacement?

Check the owners manual and run the disarm procedure listed in the alarm section, this sounds like the security system has been activated.
