How do I find out correct engine

I have 2004 Chrysler sebring convertible 2.7l and
need to replace motor. Keeps asking if 16 or 32
tone ring refer to ecm? What is ecm? And how do I
find out so can order correct engine? Also says
with or without leak protection???help me plesse
