frequently electrical problems are a result of a BAD ground...follow the black battery cable to a lug that attaches to the chassis/ground...wirebrush that location and with a pliers hold the lug and wirebrush that too...put them back together for a restored 300 amp delivery and reliable ground to ALL components including all the modules too~ the connection probably not only had a lot of power going though the one spot for repeated melting exchange of dis-similar materials is in a spot that takes a lot of splashing~ wirebrush this spot~

If this "team" did the work- they should fix it- if it wasn't working at the time, they should have told you at the time- not waited until you picked it up- was it working when you took it to them? Then they messed it up- a crossfire is a nice car and you should not be treated like yesterday's garbage- if they refuse to work with you, go find a real mechanic- or just buy a new Alfa 4C
