i replaced the o ring on my fuel injectors. but now i can't keep the car running after i start it. it's a '92 allante.

Are these the original injectors that came with the car? The Rochester injectors that were OEM will absolutely fail. Thank the govt. and Ethanol for that. Replacing "O" rings does not fix anything. You need to replace the entire injector. Replace them with Bosch - not the OEM. InjectorWarehouse.com has them for $34.95 You will be amazed at how much smoother and better your car will run.
