Check engine light doesn't come on.

Pulled the cluster and bulb was OK. Any suggestions on repair??

To get the light to come on the ECM grounds the bulb. With a 12 volt DC test light check the bulb circuit. If the wiring is good and the test light comes on with the ignition in the run position but the engine not running the instrument cluster is bad. You need to probe the ground wire from the wiring harness and have the other side of the test light clipped to the positive side of the battery. If the test light doesn't come on the wiring then the ECM, in that order, are suspect. If you have to replace the ECM, remember to transfer the PROM from the old ECM to the new one. Hope that helps!
