I have a 2010 camaro v6 motor 68,000 miles and its burning oil. I didnt notice any leaks under the car or around the motor. But did notice oil dripping out of the tailpipes. What do i need to do
Have you noticed the oil level going down in the engine? Oil does not come out of the exhaust except when the engine is burning it. That is a blue smoke that would come out. Probably what your seeing is just the normal condensation dripping out the tail pipe.
If your engine is actually burning oil there probably would be blue smoke and you would need to rebuild the engine or at least the heads. A mechanic should be able to tell you if it is valve guide seals or the oil control rings.
