Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went for an Emission test my car failed "P0430:Catalyst
system efficiency below threshold BANK 2"

Can some one please tell me which one of these would
repair this specific problem , it's my catalyst but I have two

Thank you for your time

Bank 2 is the exhaust pipe that's on the side of the engine as cylinder number two. Once you determine that, you need to determine what emission control system you have. Federal Emissions or California Emissions. The emission control sticker under the hood will tell you. If it says CARB compliant or conforms to California Emissions Standards you have California Emissions. If you don't live in California do not assume that you don't have California Emissions. My 2000 Grand Prix does and was originally delivered to New Jersey. So does my 2003 S10 Pick Up that was originally delivered to Delaware. Hope that helps! Jim
