need help with anti theft light blinks fast on 08 ford escape

08 ford escape anti theft light blinks  fast and car
won't start...i disconnected the battery and check
fuses. Help

By disconnecting the battery you may have locked yourself out of the system totally. On later model vehicles you need a little tool that saves the vehicles presets if the power is totally lost when you remove the battery form the circuit, if you do that the dealer will have to reflash the electronics to bring the systems back up. I believe there is a warning in the owners manual about removing the battery. So it looks like it will have to go to a dealer.
