battery was dead, got a jump. The guy pulled the jumper cables off my car
while the other car was hooked and running. He then put the cables back on
my car. the cable sparked and the cable blew up. we pulled the cables off and

Never put the cables back on once the vehicle is running. I would check the fuses, namely the one to the radio. It probably blew, or the wiring burnt.

Never ever use another vehicle to jump start a computer heavy vehicle like yours. Use a capacitor type jump box. So check for blown fuses first, however it may have blown the radio itself and could have corrupted the BCM programming. Remember computers do not do well with voltage spikes or power drop outs.
