no heat after recall for airbags

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had 2 recalls done, air bag and srs unit on my 2008 Honda Accord
sedan.
This is my wife car and I don't drive it much. Going to the dealer I had my
coat off and the heat was great, several hours later after the recall it was
night and I put the heat on and it didn't feel that warm, and as I'm driving I
noticed  the left side air bag cove was not placed back on right. I turned
around and went back.the service man sent me out with the mechanic and I
showed him the cover and asked about the heat, he said the heat felt fine.
Now my wife is driving the car and she's saying the same thing about lack of
heat, I checked  the heat coming out if the vents is only 65 and I have it at 70
or 80 or 85, only way to get it warmer in the car is to use the recycle air
button on the heater

Any thoughts on why after recall this should happen ?

I don't know why this problem occurred but I would try purging air out of the cooling system in case an air bubble is blocking coolant flow.
