If ac/heater blower is in any speed shifter will not move also it looks like hazard light are on and are not flashing
Thats a interesting problem. how long has it been doing that?
About 2 weeks
Do you mean the the shifter won't come out of Park? If so there is a body ground on the dash support drivers side down low, the ground for the shifter release solenoid is there plus the heater grounds and I believe dash circuits also. Your hazard problem could just be the hazard flasher stuck closed, or the above mentioned grounds. Is the hazard switch turned on?
No, the hazard switch is not turned on and as you turn up blower control these lights get brighter and instument panel and radio/clock lights go out.
I would still check that grounding connection first, lost grounds can cause all kinds of system malfunctions.
Think it is a battery problem or ground problem. Two years after I purchased my 2003 V6 explorer the battery died on a cold winter morning, as always. The vehicle would not come out of park and unfortunately the car was nosed into the garage, so unless I had a twenty five foot jumper cable I was lost. I removed the old battery, inserted a new one and everything was OK.
Did you ever figure this out? Mine is doing the same thing.
