I have a 2007 mazda 3. It has 109k miles on it now. I bought it at 27k. During oil change today they said my tranny fluid looked a little brown. Said shouldn't do it now if never done. Just wait.

That sounds wrong to me. He also
said it could mean nothing. Should I

Oh.. And I have had oil done at the same place the whole time and nothing was ever mentioned and it always looked good before. :-/

If it was never changed and brown, I'd replace the fluid. Do a drain and fill, no flush. It look good before because it was newer fluid. It isn't lifetime. IMO, Auto transmission fluid should always be changed regularly. Some mechanics think that after 100K miles if the fluid is never changed, changing it will make the transmission fail sooner. So he's suggesting you wait for what? The fluid gets dirtier and the trans fails?
