my 91 suburban only starts when its cold. thought it was the starter so i replaced it and it still does the same thing. Any ideas?

starts just fine when it is cold and runs like nothing is wrong. even runs great after motor is warm, just when i shut it off it wont stat back up. doesnt even crank and no click from the starter.
