I have a 98 Chevy Suburban that I think the starter went out on. Thought it was battery tried getting a jump start but it will not turn over. Does make clicking noise but then sounds like buzzing.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it starter or battery

1 Answer

That sounds like the starter. Do any of your lights come on when you turn the key? If so, it's more than likely the starter. If the lights flicker or don't come on then your battery is probably dead.
