OBDI Code 43 is a knock sensor code. Knock sensor is used by the ECM to detect engine knock or detonation and controls the engines timing. Typically there is one sensor for each bank of cylinders.

Having same issues. Replaced knock and tps. Is there a second on a 3.1? Really need help figuring it out. Runs good for 15 seconds then roughly then dies ics was dirty cleaned put it back and still is doing above. Next thought was to replace csp and idle control sensor (ics)
