Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 town and country passenger sliding door is not operating with key fob or overhead
switch.  It use to engage and shut on its on when it wasn't closed all the way.  Besides no
electrical connections, it now takes a lot of effort to close the door completely.

the chain that holds the wires to the door, has common problem of broken wires. This chain is located in area below door. this is the weakest link in the chain. lol usually one can almost close the door by hand. then hit the button. If it starts to open or does open this is the problem. its not too hard to replace. I dont recommendrepairing it as wire will just break again in same area due to lack of flexability. hope this helps......
