State test says O2 sensors not communicating the on 3 different hand held scanners it is good to go
New O2 sensors , new purge valve , new purge canister, new hoses , new EGR , new
factory gas cap , and new fuel tank seals , No check engine light , with ignition on check
engine light does not go off , is it safe to say need new ECU ?
You can get it reflashed from the dealer or buy a used one inline for $85.00- $125.00
With the ignition on but the engine off the check engine light is supposed to be on. What codes are you getting? Or are the readiness monitors not set? Is that why you're failing inspection? HTH. -Jim
Monitors are set , O2 sensors not communicating , no codes , A mechanics baffled say chasing ghost
If that were true the O2 readiness monitor would not set and it would keep throwing a code. This might sound silly but try another inspection facility. If their machine is messed up they're never going to admit it. HTH. - Jim
