Car alarm and back up battery.

Asked by Guru9MWBM4 Jan 08, 2023 at 08:45 AM about the 2000 Jaguar S-TYPE 3.0L V6 RWD

I have a 2000 Jaguar S type ( X200) ( UK so RHD) and for some time the
battery drains within a few days if it is not used and the main alarm goes off
when opening the doors!!
I have been told this may be down to the back up battery for the alarm??.
Is this situated below the fuse box in the engine compartment and there is a
fuse dedicated to this circuit?
