2007 limited AWD Pacifica. 62te transmission. Detente arm reinstallation?

Asked by May 24, 2017 at 08:58 AM about the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Limited AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Quick question. Replaced the Kickdown Solenoid. The detente arm jumped off before I really understood it. It has a bent end.  Does the bent end go toward the front or the rear of the car? (I think the rear) And, does the bent end slide up next to the valve body or does the screw kind of press against it creating a spring loaded adjustment? How far does the screw go in, how much tension? Thanks for your help!
