Urgent. Out of state.

Asked by Mar 24, 2017 at 08:38 AM about the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Base AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Traveling to see my kids out of state. The
malfunction indicator light started flashing and
under the hood didn't sound right. Started to get
kinda bumpy as I was driving so I pulled over. I just
got an oil change a few days ago so that's not the
issue. I'm wondering if I should put some
transmission fluid in. Any input would be greatly
appreciated.

Have you pulled the dipstick and checked the engine oil?

could be anything- better get it into a shop, fast- and the oil change can always have something to do with issues, because the monkeys who open the hood can mess things up- did you get the oil changed at a jiffy lube kinda place?

Oil is good.

Got the oil changed at the same place I go to every time in my home town. But yeah you never know.

Probably nothing to do with the oil. Sounds like a possible misfire. So like jamn mentioned have a shop diagnose it, why guess?

Thank you for replying. Got it in the shop it was an ignition coil.

Glad it was not too serious.
