Any known probs with MX5?

Hey, im lookin to buy the 1.6i MX5 from either 1991 or at least around that mark, the one with the pop-up headlights. Does
anyone have any known problems with them? it's just i own a MKII golf from 1988 and that has a problem with the carb which
is common to most MKII golfs... Cheers guys

The Early 1.6l differentials are weak. They break on stock power, guess how I know. Your best best is to look for one that is 94 or older, or be prepaired to replace the differential.
