Hey All, I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi... We just had some work on the Truck and now I put into to gear and the gears shift but i push on the gas and it does not go anywhere any help out there??? Please and Thanks
Howdy, what work did you just recently have done that might have caused this issue?
Brake stuck.is it Still on the hoist with the wheels off the ground?
you may need to use a ball-peen hammer on that parking brake, vice grips it into the released position and hammer the mechanism until it yields~
Hey Tom, We had sensor ant-lock brake sensor wheel speed cable/ igingnition semspr oxygen
It could possibly be an issue with the electronic throttle sensor. The wire might be cut or grounded or unplugged. Did you have the work done by a mechanic, he would be your best bet to get your truck running correctly again. Any lights on the dash on?
Thanks everyone... I will let you know what it was to help anyone else
disconnect the negative cable for three minutes to cause a "global reset", any of the systems that were stuck should release themselves~
2004----you aren't running with the original battery? batteries will degrade 10% per year, in other words the ability to accept a charge degrades so after ten years has trouble taking a charge...get yourself a new battery, this may take the kinks out of you troubles in terms of reliable ground connections and quality of power~
