this is a sad problem on a nice and valuable truck- if it is a 2 wheel drive, it can be towed from the rear- fortunately- unfortunately, you are trying to fix something that is best done by an expert- it will be more cost effective to take the truck to a good mechanic- it might be as little as $100- why go through all that? If this was an old pickup, sure, fix it yourself- but it is a nice, new truck! just an old guru's opinion
