i have a 01 cavalier z24 2.4 5speed, my wiring harness was trashed when i got the car. I picked up a new wire harness, but its for an automatic. Is it possable to use in my car still? And if so what would i need to do to makeit work?

You could use parts of the automatic wiring harness to replace the trashed parts. Match the wire colors and connectors and splice them in.

Hello I have a 2001 chevy cavalier and yesterday morning I tried to start my car and turned over the key and it did absolutely nothing. There was no clicking or winding noises only noise I heard was my fuel pump kicking on. All my lights are working normal and so is my radio. I have a 1994 chevrolet cavalier z24. I have had 3 transmissions put into my car since January, 2015. I am still having the same problem 3 months later. The transmission is slipping when I put the car from park into drive. It goes into neutral. Can this be caused by the inside gear shifter if the shifter is not connected properly to the transmission? I have a 1997 cavalier. I was riding down the road last week my car was running fine. When i came to a red light my car died, but started right back up. When i tried to give it gas it would would die. 1 Answer

I have something to state: I've asked How to bypass the Anti Theft system in my car. The responses I am receiving are becoming rude. I'm not trying to steal my own car. The car doesn't start anymore. It almost turns over but doesn't stay start. Instead of having to replace the Fuel Pump I was trying to reset the Anti Theft System. I asked how to by pass the system and am being accused of trying to steal cars. If I had the money to take it to the dealer, I would!!! I can't seem to reset it if that is why it is not starting. I wanted to by pass / reset the Anti Theft System to see if it would start, before I have to replace the Fuel Pump. All I have received is snide comments and accusations of stealing cars.
