Asked by Dec 30, 2014 at 11:27 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer LS 2-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The heater blower works sometimes. I started it this morning and it didn't work. Later went out and started the blazer and the blower worked ok. It worked ok after shutting the blazer off and restarting it again. But the next time I stopped and restarted the blower didn't work. tried a couple more stopping and starting the blazer, but blower still wouldn't work. Tried different positions of the vents and fan switch without and luck..

Ther is a resistor near the motor replace thrmal resistor along the wiring... a LOT easier than replacing the blower and cheaper, and it may again a couple years later, replace that thermal resister again! Still far cheaper by the dozen!
